MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Madison police are calling the death of a man in an apartment a homicide.

Police Chief Mike Koval says the 26-year-old man was at a party in the apartment attended by between eight to 10 people Friday night into Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a disturbance at the party around 12:45 a.m. Saturday and found an injured man in the apartment. WISC-TV (http://bit.ly/1B6xFeC) reports police did not specify the nature of his injuries.

A police spokesman says the man was visiting people at the apartment when he was killed.
