Source for claims was not objective
A recent letter published on March 28 urges people to Google the “Media Matters For America” summary on Project 2025 regarding the possibility of another Trump presidency. It was described as “chilling.”
The letter lists “the so-called Deep State will be purged” while “MAGA sycophants will take their place. The DOJ and FBI will lose their independence, a federal ban on abortion, detention camps for immigrants and a war on LGBTQ+ community.”
What I find most chilling is how anyone can find Media Matters For America as a newsworthy organization. They have a history of attacking conservative viewpoints, so this is nothing more than editorializing and pushing a leftist narrative. The website does not deny that narrative, as it clearly states “this site (MMFA) was intended to become a part of a larger liberal media apparatus, aimed at combating conservative opinion-makers.”
Voters will believe what they want to believe — but they also should be able to sift through some of the biased viewpoints within these operations and find a more trust worthy organization to obtain facts and not rely on partisan editorials. (This goes for both sides of the political spectrum).
I would also like to point out the founder of Media Matters For America (David Brock) was a conservative journalist turned liberal activist, so don’t expect a fair shake.
