COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Brene Moseley had 24 points and 10 assists and No. 9 Maryland opened the season with a 102-53 victory over UMass-Lowell on Saturday.

Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 20 of her 22 points in the first half, and freshman Kiah Gillespie added 15 points. Nicole Hayner had 15 points for Lowell.

NO. 12 TEXAS 90, TEXAS-SAN ANTONIO 53

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Brooke McCarty hit 4 of 5 from 3-point range and scored 16 of her 22 points in the first half to help Texas beat Texas-San Antonio.

McCarty made 8 of 13 field goals and had seven rebounds and four assists.

Alexus Dukes led UTSA with 18 points.

NO. 21 GEORGE WASHINGTON 85, GRAMBLING STATE 58

WASHINGTON (AP) - Caira Washington scored 20 of her 23 points in the first half for George Washington.

Shannon Cranshaw added 15 points and Kelli Prange had 12. Yosha Watson led Grambling with 21 points.
