Rosemont parking lot nearly complete

Installation of a new public parking lot across from the Barry Recreational Center in Rosemont is nearly complete. This week, the village board approved a $74,990 contract with Orange Crush LLC for the addition of blacktop and striping. In December, the contractor was awarded a $419,952 contract launching the project, which included underground drainage work. Weather slowed progress on the lot, but construction picked back up in earnest last month.
