No. 23 Temple Owls still undefeated in AAC headed to SMU

DALLAS (AP) - Temple is still undefeated in the American Athletic Conference and the Owls are not alone.

Temple tops the AAC East Division, with a two-game edge over Cincinnati and USF. In the West Division, No. 15 Memphis, No. 18 Houston and Navy are all 4-0 in league play.

The 23rd-ranked Owls, 7-1 overall and 4-0 in the AAC, are at SMU on Friday night. The 1-7 Mustangs are facing their fourth Top 25 opponent in coach Chad Morris' first season.

SMU has a chance to play spoiler, with games still left after Temple against Navy and a season finale at Memphis.
