Volunteers wanted for A-May-Zing Mundelein projects

The Mundelein Police Department is looking for volunteers — as well as donated supplies and potential projects — for this year’s A-May-Zing Mundelein event.

Scheduled for May 4, the event brings together volunteers with people who need help with home maintenance projects, such as yardwork and spring cleaning.

The event begins at 8 a.m. at the police station, 221 N. Lake St., with registration and a continental breakfast, according to a post on the village’s official Facebook page. Volunteers should plan to work through late morning or early afternoon.
