Aurora to close Jericho Road for 6 hours Friday

Jericho Road between Terry Avenue and Edgelawn Drive in Aurora will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, June 19, due to sanitary sewer work being performed by the Fox Metro Water Reclamation District.

The exact location is 1360 Jericho, where a sanitary sewer will be installed.

Before 9 a.m. and after 3 p.m., Jericho will be restricted to one lane in the area. During the road closure, residents will have access to their homes.

Motorists should use the posted detour of Edgelawn to Prairie Street to Terry, officials said.
