Lake County retired teachers to meet at Lambs Farm
The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Lambs Farm restaurant, Route 176 and I-94, near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. The speaker will be Cynthia Schaffer, author of "Mollie's War." The book is the result of a collaboration by mother and daughter based upon the letters Mollie sent home while serving as a WAC in Europe. Join with us as we experience World War II as seen through the eyes of a courageous young woman. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
