Palatine Rotary hosting casino night fundraiser Feb. 6

The Rotary Club of Palatine is hosting a casino night on Friday, Feb. 6, at the American Legion Hall, 122 W. Palatine Road in Palatine, to raise funds for Rotary and Rotary Charities.

The event will feature Blackjack, cash games of poker and a full service bar.

"Our goal is to make these friendly neighborhood games," said Liz Noe, casino night project chairman. "We encourage camaraderie between the players as well as with their dealers."

The funds will go toward programs that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence.

The event is open to the public. There is a $5 entry fee.
