Planning agency to host Route 53 extension meeting

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and its partners will host the second public open house meeting for the Route 53/120 Corridor Land Use Plan on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Lake Zurich High School cafeteria. The school is at 300 Church St., Lake Zurich. The corridor study is intended to create a plan for land use, open space, local transportation, and economic development within a two-mile buffer of the proposed 53/120 tollway. The open house will provide a review of initial findings and allow for public input. The corridor land use plan is being managed by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.
