Car Fun on 21 celebrates 10 years in Libertyville

Car Fun on 21 kicks off its 10th season starting Wednesday, May 16, in downtown Libertyville.

The event continues from 6 to 9 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month through September as vintage cars 25 years and older are proudly displayed on Church Street.

Grab a sandwich from Main Street Smokehouse or an ice cream cone from Culver’s of Libertyville. Listen to the sounds of The Mojo Daddies and take a stroll down memory lane. The proud car owners will be on hand to answer questions.

Anyone interested in displaying a car in the event should use the Brainerd Avenue entrance. No registration is required.

Volunteers will be available to direct the cars to the parking spots beginning at 5 p.m.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the car shows scheduled for June 20 (vintage fire trucks); July 18; Aug. 15; Sept. 19.
