Clearbrook Women’s Golf Classic offers martinis, massages and more

On Monday, June 11, Clearbrook will host the 11th Annual Women’s Classic Golf Outing.

This unique event, created by women for women, offers a day on and off the greens filled with pampering and surprises on every hole.

This year’s event moves to Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer. Golfers are greeted at the 8:30 a.m. registration with mimosas, followed by a continental breakfast and golf clinics. The 18-hole scramble, which will include lunch, has a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The event culminates with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and silent and live auctions.

Back again this year by popular demand is the Player Passport that entitles golfers to participate in an all-hole contest, including the opportunity to beat the pro, LPGA Tour player Nicole Jeray. Golfers are encouraged to purchase the Passport before the event to take advantage of the early bird rate of just $50.

“Clearbrook Women’s Classic really is the premier women’s outing in the Chicago area. It offers a tremendous opportunity for fellow women golfers to support a worthwhile cause, while enjoying a fun day of golf filled with unique on-course amenities,” said Betsy Voyles of Body Balance for Performance, who serves as chairman of the 2012 event.

Proceeds benefit children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other intellectual/development disabilities, as well as their families, supported by Clearbrook.

Tickets are $250 per player. To purchase tickets, contact Sarah Shaw at (847) 385-5009 or sshaw@clearbrook.org. Online registration is available at www.clearbrook.org (click on “Events,” then “Clearbrook Women’s Classic”).
