Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band headline Palatine summer concert

Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band will be the headliner Friday night at the Palatine Park District's Sounds of Summer concert.

The concert begins 8 p.m. in the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 256 E. Palatine Road.

The band plays plenty of Jummy Buffett favorites, as well as music from Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Paul Simon, Dick Dale, Jerry Jeff Walker and others.
