Hampshire opens boys soccer postseason with win

Hampshire 7, Sandwich 1: Jose Hernandez and Michael Boutin each scored twice to lead Hampshire to an easy win in the play-in game of the Class 2A Burlington Central regional. Colin Gent, Tyler Fairwood and Alex Walker also had goals for the Whip-Purs (8-13-2), who will play Burlington Central at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the semifinals. Andy Pederson made 4 saves in goal for the Whips.
