New York Red Bulls' Robles voted MLS Goalkeeper of Year

NEW YORK (AP) - The Red Bulls' Luis Robles has been voted Major League Soccer's Goalkeeper of the Year.

The 31-year-old Robles led MLS goalkeepers with 18 wins, including nine shutouts, as New York finished with MLS's best regular-season record.

He received 84 percent of a possible 300 percent in weighted ballots added from team, media and player votes, the league said Thursday. Vancouver's David Ousted was second with 74 percent and D.C. United's Bill Hamid - last year's winner - was third with 51 percent.
