Plato Center HCE to learn about eating well

Plato Center Unit for Home and Community Education

The Plato Center Unit for Home and Community Education will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Plato Town Hall, 10N924 Rippberger Road.

The hostesses are Barbara Allen, Dee Boldt and Muriel Covington.

The lesson is "Eating Well as You Age." The cards that benefit the Community Crisis Center will be on sale. Bring your state dues of $8.50.

There will be a paper collection to benefit the Crisis Center. Election of officers will be held at this meeting. Needed are a treasurer and a cultural enrichment director. Consider volunteering for these offices.

They invite residents of Elgin, South Elgin, Plato Center, Burlington and surrounding communities to the meetings. All are welcome.
