Epic Urgent and Family Care Supports the Palatine Community
Epic Urgent and Family Care recently opened its doors, and made a commitment to become a strong part of the Palatine community. The clinic, located on 768 E. Dundee Road (just west of Rand Road), has made good on that promise.
Its community involvement since opening has included supporting the Palatine Jazz Community Band, sponsoring local events such as the Cinco De Mayo fundraiser (Palatine Opportunity Center), Big Trucks (Palatine Park District), 16th Annual Samurang Games (JP Wood Martial Arts America), The Fishing Derby (Palatine Park District) and Flying 4 Kids (Palatine Park District).
The clinic and urgent care facility also will be sponsoring the upcoming Bobcat Blitz, a 1-mile and 5K marathon on May 9, 2015, presented by Immanuel Lutheran Church and ongoing sponsorships of Palatine soccer and rugby teams.
"We felt it was important as an incoming business to get very involved with events and activities throughout the community - to show we are interested in becoming a strong part of it," said Dr. Hetal Patel, one of two doctors who provides services at the clinic.
The urgent and primary care clinic serves patients from three months of age to adults for both non-life threatening injuries, as well as general medical services.
In an effort to serve more members of the community, Epic Urgent and Family Care provides Camp/Sports/School Physicals for $35, a complete body physical (with labs and EKG) for $145 and there is no waiting at the clinic.
