Document shred day April 20 in Naperville

The Naperville Park District and Naperville Police Department are hosing a free shredding event April 20 at the Centennial Beach parking lot, 500 W. Jackson Ave.

The event is open from 8 to 11 a.m., or until the truck is filled. Participants can bring up to two cardboard banker boxes or two paper bags full of paper to shred. Boxes and bags cannot exceed 10 pounds per container. Metal or plastic binder rings or clips and previously shredded paper will not be accepted.
