Eighth annual Eggapalooza, rescheduled to April 7, to benefit Cal’s Angels

The eighth annual Eggapalooza has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 7, in Huntley. The fundraiser, which will benefit Cal's Angel, was originally set for March 23.

It begins with “Breakfast with the Bunny” at 8:30 a.m. (for an extra fee).

The egg hunt, with more than 32,000 Easter eggs (filled with candy, toys and cash), starts at 12:30 p.m.; limited tickets available.

There also will be a photo booth with an Easter backdrop. They will provide you with digital copies of pictures of your family with the Easter Bunny (or if you dare, the emcee “Durty Ole Bunny.”)

Additionally, Eggapalooza has fun games, activities and prizes for the kids. The games include: a three-legged race, egg on a spoon race, pin the tail on the Easter Bunny, potato sack races and more.

Parking directions and maps will be sent after registration.

For the second year, they are partnering with Cal’s Angels, a nonprofit pediatric cancer foundation based in St. Charles. In 2023, more than 125 kids participated, resulting in $750 donation to help in the fight for pediatric cancer, and are hoping to see that doubled in 2024.

Online tickets for the breakfast and the egg hunt are $35 until April 1 or $40 after. Or sign up for the egg hunt only for $20 until April 1 or $25 after. A limited number of day-of the event egg hunt tickets may be available for $30. All participants will need to have a signed waiver returned prior to ticket being valid.
