Boosters help make high school years great

Every day I leave my school, the castle on the hill, so thankful. At Glenbard West there are various sports and clubs. There is a place for everybody to fit in and be himself or herself. It wouldn't be possible without our principal, sponsors and, most importantly, boosters.

Boosters are the parents who volunteer to help raise money to fund these sports and clubs. At all the home football games they are outside selling apparel in a tent, even it's freezing out. They do golf outings, sell Glenbard gear and make donations.

At the end of the year, clubs and sports get to put in a request for money and say what they would use it for. Boosters distribute it in the most fair way they can. With out these sports or clubs being successful, my high school experience wouldn't be amazing like it is now. Thanks, boosters.
