Police: Racing led to crash that killed 3 in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police say two cars were racing when one lost control, jumped a median and killed three people in an SUV, including a 12-year-old girl.
The accident happened about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday on the south side of the city. Police spokesman Officer Chris Wilburn says witnesses described the Mustang that lost control as being airborne at one point. The names of the victims have not been released.
Police say three adults and a child traveling in the Mustang were hospitalized in good condition.
Police were investigating. Police say no arrests have been made.
