Hanover Park police map road closures for Mexican Independence Day parade

Hanover Park police will close roads to traffic around a parade Saturday celebrating Mexican Independence Day.

The parade will step off at 11 a.m. from St. Ansgar Catholic Church, 2040 Laurel Avenue. Police will close the following roads between 11 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.:

• Laurel Avenue between Center Avenue and Church Street

• Church Street between Laurel Avenue and Sycamore Avenue

• Sycamore Avenue between Church Street and Center Avenue

• Center Avenue between Sycamore Avenue and Laurel Avenue

Parking also will not be allowed during those times.
