Tragic death could have been avoided
Anytime an individual is killed, it is tragic to the family and friends. Unfortunately, this may happen by accident or bad decisions. In the case of Michael Brown, you have riots after the grand jury did not indict the police officer, why?
After months of facts that led the grand jury to conclude there was no evidence to convict the officer, including eight black witnesses who confirmed the officers' accounts, people still rage against innocent business owners and wreak havoc in the streets. Why, because they know better? Nope, they want to play the race card. Personally, enough with the false claims of racism, it cheapens the accounts that might actually be racist.
The simple solution is to make good decisions, be law-abiding citizens, take personal responsibility for those decisions, and want for success. Just imagine, if Michael Brown had made the decision to study or work that evening, instead of rob a convenient store and manhandle the clerk, or when confronted by the officer to act civil rather than rush at him like a football player, he would be alive today.
Yes, a tragic death, but one that could have been avoided with better decisions.
