Spain coach minus key players ahead of friendly matches

MADRID (AP) - Nacho and Oscar de Marcos have been called up to the Spain squad for the friendly matches against England and Belgium on November 13 and 17 after defenders Juanfran Torres and Sergio Ramos pulled out with injury.

Atletico Madrid says Juanfran injured a muscle in his left leg during the team's 1-0 win against Sporting Gijon and will be sidelined for around three weeks.

Ramos was substituted after triggering a recurrence of a shoulder problem while scoring Real Madrid's 22nd-minute opener in its 3-2 loss at Sevilla.

The Spanish football federation confirmed De Marcos, of Athletic Bilbao, and Madrid's Nacho were called up.

Coach Vicente del Bosque is already without Madrid defender Dani Carvajal.

Ramos will hope to be back for Madrid's 'clasico' against Barcelona on Nov. 21.
