3rd arrest made in northern Indiana double killing

SYRACUSE, Ind. (AP) - A northern Indiana man has been arrested on preliminary charges of two counts of murder and obstruction of justice.

Kyle DeHart was being held Sunday without bond in the Kosciusko County Jail. It is not known if he has hired an attorney.

DeHart is the third person to be charged in the killings of 19-year-old Josh Knisley and 23-year-old Tara Thornburg in their Syracuse home last month. DeHart's mother, Joan DeHart, was arrested Thursday on one felony count of assisting a criminal.

Twenty-two-year-old Brandon Woody has pleaded not guilty to two counts of felony murder.

The Journal Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/192pkyC) that authorities say in a probable cause affidavit that Woody and Kyle Dehart stayed at Joan Dehart's home after the killing, and she told them she would be their alibi.
