Send your photos for Dist. 59's Frost's 50th anniversary

Community Consolidated School District 59 is honoring a birthday. Robert Frost Elementary School is turning 50, and a celebration is being planned in honor of the event.

Robert Frost will host an event from 5-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, filled with fun, including an epic Museum Walk, student artwork, student performances, a time capsule display, visits from current and previous school staff, raffles, Frost T-shirts for sale, and refreshments.

In order to prepare for this community event, District 59 needs your help. Robert Frost Elementary School is seeking photos taken at the school or at school events from the past to create an authentic experience of the school's history. High quality digital scans of photos or printed copies of original photos are preferred. Original photos will be returned if a return address is included with the photo. Please send in photos by May 1.

To submit a photo, please include what approximate year the photo was taken, the names of the people in the photo if known, and what activity or event is featured.
