LSU 2015 recruiting class features Toliver, Johnson
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - LSU coach Les Miles is looking to a 2015 recruiting class filled mostly by Louisiana players to help the Tigers bounce back from their worst season in six years.
Out of the total class of 25 announced Wednesday, only nine are from out of state.
Four of LSU's signees are rated among the best in the country. They are cornerback Kevin Toliver, wide receiver Tyron Johnson, offensive lineman Maea Teuhema and running back Derrius Guice.
Johnson, who's from New Orleans, has been Louisiana's most coveted recruit. Miles also landed Louisiana's top recruit a year ago in running back Leonard Fournette.
LSU is coming off of an 8-5 2014 season in which the Tigers finished out of the Top 25 for the first time since 2008.
