St. Anne students to attend state science fair competition

On Saturday, March 8, 13 students represented St. Anne Parish School at the Science Fair Regionals.

These students were Angelina Maestranzi, Danielle Duffy, Summer Faycurry, Mae Yustin, Alexandra Kasch, Jillian Vlasak, Matthew Doersching, Hannah Werner, Grant Jodoin, Jack Austin, Nick Londo, Mary Horcher and Jacob Horcher.

Hannah Werner and Grant Jodoin were nominated as Broadcom Masters Scholars reaching the top 10 percent.

The following students received a Gold Award and are going to the state competition on May 3, at Northern Illinois University: Grant Jodoin, Hannah Werner, Danielle Duffy, Summer Faycurry, Angelina Maestranzi, Matthew Doersching, Alexandra Kasch, Jillian Vlasik, Mary Horcher and Jake Horcher

The following student received a Gold Award: Mae Yustin.

A Bronze was awarded to Jack Austin and Nick Londo.

St. Anne Parish School received second place in their division.
