Grain mostly higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was up 2.25 cents to $4.88 a bushel; December corn was 3.50 cents higher at $3.7660 a bushel; December oats were 1.50 cents lower at 2.2520 a bushel; while November soybeans was higher 9 cents to 9.00 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .75 cent higher at $1.4240 a pound; November feeder cattle was .65 cent higher at $1.9280 a pound; December lean hogs gained 2.23 cents to $.6820 a pound.
