Bellevue bar owner pleads guilty to drug charge

BELLEVUE, Iowa (AP) - An eastern Iowa woman who owns a Bellevue bar has pleaded guilty to conspiring to sell drugs.

Thirty-eight-year-old Kaybe L. Bullock of Bellevue has pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance as part of a deal with prosecutors to drop two charges against her. According to court documents, Bullock planned to distribute a substance that contained methamphetamine.

The two other charges Bullock had faced were possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and felon in possession of a fire arm.

The Dubuque Telegraph Herald (http://bit.ly/1AvKxcv ) reports Bullock is the owner of the Frontier Bar and was arrested in September after investigators executed search warrants at her home and business.
