Rep. Schneider closes offices due to pandemic

The Chicago-area and Washington, D.C., offices of U.S. Rep. Brad Schneider will be closed to most visitors effective immediately because of the COVID-19 pandemic, his staff announced Friday.

Staffers primarily will work from home.

Schneider, a Deerfield Democrat who represents Illinois' 10th District, will accept small meetings by appointment as long as public health guidelines are met.
