Lake County Astronomy Society to host SwapFest

The Lake County Astronomical Society invites the public to its annual SwapFest/Show-and-Tell. Club members will have telescope- and astronomy-related items to swap, and will be conducting a show-and-tell of astronomy-related equipment.

After the program, if weather permits, members of the club will set up telescopes in the parking area for viewing celestial objects in the night sky.

The event will be from 7:30-10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Volo Bog, 28478 W. Brandenburg Road, Ingleside.
