Wheeling to celebrate National Manufacturing Day

Wheeling's Keats Manufacturing will hold an open house and offer tours of its plant Friday, Oct. 2, to celebrate National Manufacturing Day.

Director of Economic Development John Melaniphy says Wheeling wants to celebrate the village's nearly 14 million square feet of manufacturing space and inspire future generations of manufacturers.

Keats Manufacturing, 350 Hollbrook Drive, will give tours from 1 to 4 p.m., and state officials from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity are expected to attend the event.
