Congressman Royce to address U.S.-India relations June 7

U.S. Rep. Ed Royce of California, chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, will address members of the suburban Indian-American community regarding the future of relations between the U.S. and India, at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 7, in Carol Stream.

The event at the Rana Reagan Community Center, 343 St. Paul Blvd., is hosted by the National Indian American Public Policy Institute, which took the first delegation of high-ranking U.S. congressmen to India in March 2013 to meet with Narendra Modi, who was then chief minister of the state of Gujarat and is now the nation's prime minister.

All members of the Indian-American community in the greater Chicago metropolitan area are invited to join the event.
