Livesaving programs
are on the ballot
In 2022 37,086,000 voters over 65 were registered to vote in the General Election. All of them are eligible for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the ACA, commonly known as Obamacare, in this year’s election.
Florida Sen. Rick Scott proposed to put all these proven life-saving measures on the chopping block every five years. Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, proposed something even more drastic, reducing it to one year. Many of their conservative, congressional associates proposed eliminating them all.
If any of the voters above should cast their ballot for the Republican Party in November, do they have a “death wish”, likewise, for those opposed to any effort to curtail or end them?
If the Democratic Party wants to win this year, why hasn’t it stressed this fact with every campaign speech and television ad directed to this voting electorate?
