Heart surgery milestone

Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan recently reached a milestone - its 500th open heart surgery procedure. The case was completed by Dr. Lambros Tsonis, Vista's program director for open heart surgery and a cardiothoracic surgeon with Cardiac Surgery Associates in Gurnee.
