Hot-spot commitment can close gaps
Gov. Rauner recently applauded the mobile hot spot telecom provider Sprint has committed to low-income students in five suburban high school districts. This is a stellar business display of leadership and direction that can balance the haves with the have nots in this age of technological breakthroughs.
Education for the younger generation, does permit our society to not lag, but to jettison where they will need to be in future years. The United States was at one time the leader in freedoms and economic growth and stabilities on this planet. Today, there is a greater divide in the gap between the USA and many other nations.
There is an even greater gap between our own classes in this country. The balance of power creates tensions and hardships and is no solution to peace and prosperity.
Furthermore, even though the future relies on our youth, let's not forget the sacrifices our older generation has produced and endured. Many of our citizens, who are now in their golden years, no longer have the financial means to continue to operate their lives in a meaningful and healthful manner. Wouldn't it be wonderful if another provider could step forward and provide hot spots for our older generation?
Let's end the struggle and really balance both sides of this equation. Who else can step up for those who struggle with each step?
