Pet food pantry now open in Grayslake

Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue is now operating a pet food pantry distribution site at Central Bark Doggy Day Care, 256 Commerce Drive, Grayslake. Hours are 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays and Saturdays. Donations can be dropped off from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays. Anyone who is struggling financially and needs assistance feeding their pets can register with the pantry by providing: a drivers license or state ID; proof of need, such as an unemployment check stub; proof of rabies/vaccines and spay/neutering.
