Washington Street to reopen in Lake County

The Lake County Division of Transportation will reopen Washington Street to through traffic from Cedar Lake Road to Hainesville Road in Round Lake Park the week of July 21.

The closure has been necessary as part of the Washington Street reconstruction and widening project. Work will continue on the project through mid-August, and it will be done under one lane traffic control using flaggers during the day as necessary.
