Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group To Hold Shredding and Recycling Event

Deerfield, IL - Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Deerfield office will hold a shredding and recycling event at 656 Deerfield Road in Deerfield, IL on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00am-12:00pm. The office will also be collecting non-perishable food items to stock the West Deerfield Township Food Pantry.

To reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud, the community is invited to bring junk mail, cancelled checks, utility bills, credit cards, and other materials to be destroyed on-site and recycled. The event is free.

"We love to see the community come out for this event, and it comes at a perfect time as people are spring cleaning their homes. Often times, we are reluctant to get rid of old documents because we don't know how to safely dispose of them," said Michael Mazzei, Regional Vice President and Managing Broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Deerfield office. Michael continued, "At our shred event, people can get rid of old paperwork securely. It is destroyed on-site and then recycled. We will also have the opportunity to donate to our local food pantry."
