Go fishing near Libertyville

Have you wanted to try fishing but don't have the gear? Come to the Independence Grove Forest Preserve near Libertyville on Thursday. Forest district officials will supply poles, bait and tips between 9 and 10 a.m. at the North Bay Pavilion. The program is open families with children 5 or older. Admission is $1. Fishing licenses are required for anyone 16 or older.
