Round Lake woman faces prostitution charge

A 66-year-old Round Lake woman has been charged with prostitution after agreeing to perform sexual acts with an undercover detective, police said Monday.

The Lake County sheriff's office arrested Karin M. Gocza of the 25000 block of Route 120 on Wednesday, according to a news release.

The office sent an undercover detective to Gocza's residence after receiving a complaint about prostitution happening in there. Gocza agreed to perform sexual acts with the detective in exchange for a cash payment of $190, the news release said.

Gocza's bond was set at $1,500. Her next court date is July 29.
