Smart Farm Announces Kid's Veggie Adventure Programs

Smart Farm of Barrington is introducing its Kid's Veggie Adventure programs this summer. Come explore the Smart Farm, see how veggies grow, and what's in the garden throughout the summer. Take a scavenger hunt through the Smart Farm hoop house and gardens, help harvest what's ripe, and sample some of the veggies. The veggie adventures, for children ages 4-7, will be on Monday, June 15, Monday, July 13, and Monday, August 10 all from 10:00 - 10:30 AM. They will take place at the Smart Farm gardens and hoop house located on the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Campus, 450 Route 22, Barrington. Please come for one, two, or all three adventures…the garden is always changing throughout the season! There is no charge but please register at: www.smartfarms.org.
