Prospect Heights extends branch pickup a second time

For the second week in a row, the city of Prospect Heights has extended the time it will collect limbs and branches left behind by November's big snowstorm.

The city said in a statement issued Friday said that due to the severe tree damage, the Public Works Department will collect limbs and branches from storm-damaged trees through Friday, Dec. 18. Branches must be left at the curb.
