Real science shows dangers of GMOs
In a recent Daily Herald column, Michael Gerson defended GMOs by claiming that critics are using "pseudoscience" and "undermining public trust in legitimate scientific authority."
That's the same style of rhetoric you'd expect from the billion-dollar corporations who are profiting from the food contamination of America. But thanks to good scientific research, it has been proven that GMOs are harmful to health.
Further evidence shows the soils to be contaminated with synthetic pesticides and toxic herbicides responsible for our obesity epidemic and many health problems sweeping the world.
In Germany, it was reported that a large number of cows died mysteriously after having been fed on GMO corn. In the UK after GMO soy was introduced, there was a 50 percent increase in allergies. Another news item stated that "scientists who voiced criticism and those who have discovered incriminating evidence have been threatened, stripped of responsibilities, denied funding or tenure, or fired."
If you want reliable scientific facts about the health dangers of GMO foods, read "Seeds of Deception" by Jeffrey Smith and you'll also discover just who is guilty of "pseudo science."
