Surgical Care Affiliates partners with Pennsylvania hospital

DEERFIELD - Surgical Care Affiliates is partnering with Advanced Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, a group of orthopedic and spine surgeons, to grow access to high quality surgical care in southwestern Pennsylvania, the company announced.

Under the agreement, SCA will acquire an interest in Advanced Surgical Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania, and provide management support services to the hospital's leadership. Financial terms of the agreement were not announced.

The physician partners of Advanced will continue to oversee all clinical operations, and Advanced will gain access to a suite of management support services based on SCA's network of nearly 200 leading surgical facilities across the country.
