Retired teachers meet

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Tuesday, June 9, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and I-94, near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. The guest speaker is Jim Bachman, executive director of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association. Expect to hear from him his opinion on the Supreme Court decision and what that means to Illinois teachers for now and in the future. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
