Contract proposed for jail workers

The Lake County Board on Tuesday is expected to approve a three-year employment contract for workers at the county jail. The proposed deal calls for 2.85-percent salary increases, starting retroactively in December 2013. It goes through November 2016. The board meeting is set for 9 a.m. at the county government center, 18 N. County St., Waukegan.
