Repair work prompts Fox River Trail delays in East Dundee, Elgin
Trail users may experience brief delays or reroutes along the Fox River Trail through East Dundee and Elgin on June 13-17, due to scheduled repair work.
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County will be patching asphalt on the trail, beginning in East Dundee at South River Street, south to Slade Avenue in Elgin.
The Fox River Trail will remain open during the project, with staff guiding patrons around the work areas. The Forest Preserve District asks trail users to use caution and be mindful of the possibility of equipment on or around the trail.
