Take the time to read the newspaper

Thank you for the recent article in the Neighbor section titled "Remembering Aachen," a look back in honor of the 70th anniversary of the World War II battle. A newspaper is more than a place to check football scores, see what's playing at the movies, and find out if you need an umbrella today. I wish more people would take the time to read the Daily Herald or any newspaper. Turn off the TV for one hour, read the paper, move from uninformed, past misinformed to informed. The Metropolis, Ebola, District 214, upcoming elections ... it is all there. Your life and the world will be a better place if you know what is going on around you!
